| From The Methodology To Chinese Practices: The Limitation Of Social Survey |

Abstract In the last twenty years,social survey has been used in many Chinese scholars' researches,and domestic social researchers' technical of social survey have been enhanced unceasingly.At the same time,more and more attentions have been concerned on the limitation of social survey which is one of the methods of social research.This paper attempts to discuss the limitation of social survey from aspects of methodology and domestic practices.The aim of the discussion is not to deny the rationality and the necessity of social survey,but to introspect and as well as to cause people to introspect the social research itself which is an academic activity.
