Abstract The Zhonghua Exhibition of Chinese Goods in 1928 was the biggest one in modern China.The exhibitions of Chinese goods were urged to emerge and develop by the economic aggression of imperialist countries and the flourishing movement to advocate national goods from the year 1912.The Zhonghua Exhibition of Chinese Goods in 1928 was held successively by the department of industry and commerce of the Nanjing National Government,the Shanghai government and the general Chamber of Commerce of Shanghai together.The exhibition of Chinese goods had given the impetus to the sale and improvement of national products,promoted people's feelings of Chinese goods and people's idea to save own's country by developing national economy.Moreover,it also showed the cooperative aspect between the officials and the businessmen during the initial Nanjing Nation Government,and the economic nationalism had the rational core which advocatesd interal development.
