Abstract Confucius' interpretation of On Poetry is much different from that of Zuo Zhuan and that of Mao Heng On Poetry.It makes a full perceptual recognition and humanist remarks On Poetry.Differently,Zuo Zhuan tends to start from subjective assumptions,whereas Mao Heng initiates the system of extra textual comments.These are the inevitable choices which relay on the subjective feelings of life and historical context,and reflect different understandings of "being".
