Abstract Compared with Gadamer,this paper discusses characteristic of hermeneutics of Wittgenstein's philosophy in earlier and later stage from angles of understanding and explaining,language-game and language,and practical wisdom.It analyses the resemblances and differences of these aspects,and points out the causes.
