Abstract The main task of this paper is to discuss how Zizek criticizes ideology by virtue of the Lacanian psychoanalysis.According to Lacan, it was none other than Karl!Marx who invented the notion of symptom,since Marx,starting from the analysis of commodity-form,demonstrated the ideology of capitalism which made freedom and equality its core could be illuminated drastically by commodity fetishism.
