Abstract The religious psychology is an important historical formation of psychology.There are two meanings of the religious psychology.The first is the religious psychology in scientific meanings or the religious psychology in scientific tradition,That is the studies on the religious mind that scientists have used scientific methods.That is a branch of scientific psychology.The second is the religious psychology in religious traditions,that is to illustrate,to explain and to intervene according to religious pattern from religionists.The latter is the traditional resource in religious cultures,and historical resource of modern scientific psychology.The psychology in religion has provided the important explanations of human faith,and important ways of intervening human mental conversion.Those have provided very plentiful and important theories,methods and techniques.The creations of psychology have to absorb the resources in religious psychology.
