Abstract Urban village reconstruction is the actual trouble with high attention from the government.It is shown from various reconstructions that the reconstruction of urban village is relative to the benefits of various aspects as an issue which shall be treated cautiously.According to the research of the paper,the key problem for urban village reconstruction is to pay attention to the basic and social factors which is significant for the forming and maintaining of urban village,which means to take the social foundation of the urban village into consideration.The foundation mainly includes the residence and life of floating population of urban area,benefit of urban farmers,the survival and development space of urban survivaltype economy mode.If above problems are not carefully handled,it is only the surface strategy to reconstruct urban village,which may result in various difficulties.
