Abstract The tiantai sect Chao Shuo-zhi wrote Jing Yusheng Collection to preserve many Buddhism historical data.Song Ming State Mingzhi Master Stele Text is the first material to the research of Mingzhi Master.Chao Shuo-zhi's Tiantai theory attainments are profound.His three articles "Obtuse Hut Records Old","Obtuse Hut Newly Records" and "Pure land" have publicized the tiantai sect theory and the Tiantai pure land.Chao Shuo-zhi's position has firmly maintained the founder Wise Master's authority.
