Abstract The demeanor during Wei-jin Dynasty was showed through the work Shi Shuo Xin Yu.On the aesthetic perspective,the main formal character of the demeanor was outstanding or transcendent.Its main connotation was intelligence on life.The intelligence was to grasp and experience Dao.The demeanor's substance was the freedom of the spirit that pursued the liberating country.This spirit's freedom might be realized only by the intelligence on life.The demeanor was created through selecting by Liu Yi-qing.It met his need or wish.
