| Operation of Village Self-governance and Regional Characteristics in China——An Analysis Based on Data from A National Sampling Survey |

Abstract With nearly 20-year development,how about the implementation of village self-governance system in China? The findings,according to correlation and regression analysis of this paper are: of the factors effecting village self-governance,geographic location,regional types and traffic situation haven't obvious impact,but economic factors have significant effect.Results show that degree of village self-governance in eastern area is a little higher than other areas,which is inclined to "sea election",where its financial affairs opening has short cycles and the village branch secretary of the Party is in control of the authority of finance in most villages.It also provides evidence for positive correlation between economy development and democracy development in some degree.
