Abstract The application of knowledge mapping analysis can show the research status in certain field clearly， and intuitively reveal the future direction of Chinese psychobiography， providing important references for future research. The data in this paper is mainly collected from CNKI， with supplementary data sources from other databases. Both Excel and CiteSpace 5.2.R2 are used for statistical analysis. By using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods， it draws the time distribution diagram of the number of posts， the authors' cooperation map， the universities' cooperation map and the keywords' cluster map. The results show that the number of psychobiographyical papers published in China is increasing with obvious fluctuation. The increase in the number of academic articles on psychobiography directly contributes to the continuous development of this field， and predicates a bright future in this research field.
