Abstract The student financial assistance is one of the important contents and measures of promoting social fairness. Chinese government pays high attention to students with family financial difficulties， and builds up a student financial assistance system ranging from preschool education to graduate education. Tens of millions of students with family financial difficulties get the opportunities to successfully enter school and complete their studies，which can be conducive to block intergenerational transmission of poverty.
