| History, Experience and Reflection of Chinese Folklore during the Past 70 Years |

Abstract Reviewing the history of Chinese folklore during the past 70 years, the experience is embodied in the following aspects: the construction of folklore discipline is always closely related to the needs of country and society, the discipline system and talent group form the cornerstone of the development of folklore, the summary and innovation of the discipline theory guarantee the direction of the development of folklore, folklore discipline always maintains the people-oriented consciousness. This paper also discusses the prospect of folklore from four aspects: independence and autonomy, practicality and historicity, localization and internationalism, integration and openness.
