Abstract This paper aims at summarizing the studies regarding distance-delivered psychological intervention for healthcare personnel in the context of major public health emergencies. Firstly， it outlines the possible mental illness among healthcare personnel during and after the major public health emergencies， which points out the necessity of psychological intervention. Next， it gives an overview regarding the development and effect evaluation of distance-delivered psychological intervention and points out that the distance-delivered psychological intervention is an evidence-based， convenient， feasible method available to healthcare personnel. Moreover， it summarizes the important topics in the psychological intervention for healthcare personnel in major public health emergencies， which include the necessity of distance-delivered psychological intervention for healthcare personnel， the special intervention contents， phases of intervention and common intervention skills. Lastly， it discusses the implications for future researchers.
