Abstract：The paper is based on Journal of the Tour in T'aihe Mountain one chapter of the Travets of Xu Xiake. The athor holds that the Journal describes the unique natural and human landscapes,and the rules of areal differentiations as well. It provides historic experience and scientific basis for the conservation and development of Shen Nongjia,the largest natural protection region of Hubei Province. It's a valuable academic paper with practical significance.
