Abstract：According to the data given by practical mesurements and long-standing observations, this paper has analysed the law of variations in time and space of water resource in lakes of Xianning Region. Meanwhile, the water balace in lakes of Xianning Region has been computed for the first time. Also, he has comprehensively evaluated the water resource of lakes in Xianning Region.
