Abstract：From the paper described a method to synthesis 1,2-ethanediylbis[nitrlobis(methylene)] tetraphosphonic acid EDTMP by using phosphorus trichloride, formaldehyde and ethylenediamine in glycol. Besides which, studed stability of EDTMP for sodium hypochlorite Solution. Their result has been shown both are higher for yield and purity of EDTMP, under the action of glycol, when applied of stabiliting Sodium hypochlorite, its effect is better than other stabilizer.
