Abstract：This paper surveys the development situation about the construction of geodetic blocks in recent twenty years. Some researches acquired by the authors of this paper, the construction of geodetic blocks of diameter two and three and geodetic blocks given diameters and girths 9 are introduced. In addition, some valuable problems are pointed out.
