Abstract：On the bases of the studies of Mossbauer spectra on the electron jump in the Prussian blue and Turnbull blue,in this article, we have calculated the electron transition energy in Prussian blue and Turnbull blue. The results indicate that there are differences in the electron transition type and energy between the two compunds, from which the difference in colour between PB and TB can be explained .
