Abstract：Based on the materials of 1960s and 1980s and on this imestigation the author indicated the reason of the decrease of the birds species population which overwintered in Honghu lakeland and discussed the tendency that abundant species have developed to small group. At last, the author put forword some appropriate tactic for these reason.
