Abstract：So far, there have been many problems in the marsh soil classification. The paper puts out a series of marsh soil diagnostic horizons and characteristics, which are based on the marsh soil profile figures and soil properties and the latest soil classification advances.In addition,the paper tries to work out Chinese marsh soil taxonomy on the basis of the marsh soil diagnostic horizons and characteristics.
