Abstract：This paper first illustrates the origin and formative process ofMathematical Economics, and indicates that the start of the journal MathematicalEconomics is the mark of formation of this subject. Then it analyses theachievements of winners of Nobel Prize of Economics. From those, it can be seenthat modern Economics can't keep away from Mathematics- All branches ofEconomics are in reference to Mathematics- Though not all problems on Economicscan be solved With the help of Mathematics, perhaps no problem can be clearwithout 4he help of Mathematics- Finally, three apocalypses are acquired: (1)Mathematical Economics has become the mainstream of Economics, and economicalsystems can be described comparatively accurately with the help of Mathematics;(2) Economics feeds up some new branches of Mathematics such as game theory,etc.; (3) Economists and mathematicians should keep a close touch, which ishelpful for each other.
