Abstract：?The inclination rate of mean maximum temperature (7'M ), mean mini-mum temperature (Tm) and diurnal temperature range (TD) is calculated in differenttime scales (year, season, month ) from l961 to l995 in Hubei Province. The re-sults show that: Tm. has been increasing significantly in winter and TM has beendecreasing significantly in summer. Yearly average minimum temperature hasbeen increasing while yearly average maximum temperature changes little. This re-sults in very obvlous decreasing trend for 7'I,- The reasons are also analysed in thepaper.
