Abstract：The SDS-PAGE electropheresis of whole-cell proteins was applied in classification of 71 strains isolated from Astragalus spp.. It was showed that the technique is a simple and rapid method in classification of rhizobia. The similarity of strains in the same group is 78%, and DNA homology is above 70%.
