Abstract：The temporal and spatial vicissitudes of the hometowns of the Chinese prime ministers in successive dynasties are studied on the bases of a series of statistics and systematic analyses in this paper. It indicates that the hometowns of the Chinese prime ministers in history centralize mainly on the Yellow River Valley in earlier stage, while on the Changjiang River Valley in later stage. At last, the interlor reasons lying behind the migration of the hometowns of the ancient prime ministers from the north to the south is interpreted.
