Abstract:N alkyl N benzylene phosphonic acid has been synthesized by using benzaldehyde and its derivatives reaction with amine phosphorous acid. Change of colours and absorption spectrum of N alkyl N benzylene phosphonic acid are studied under suitable temperature range by using a 730 UV spectrophotometry.The result shows that the N alkylphosphonic acid containing aromatic cyclo processes obvious thermochromism and when nitro group presents in aromatic aldehye the color of phosphonic acid is deeper.
