Abstract：White spot syndrome viruses could infect Cambarus clarkii by feeding them. The disease developed rapidly with high mortality. The viruses were assembled in nuclei or cytoplasm. They could be separated roughly by different centrifugation, sucrose cushion centrifugation or density gradient centrifugation, then the nucleoacid orgined from cells in rough viruses was digested, and pure viral DNA was obtained.
