Abstract：This paper holds the opinion that the intergration and regionality are the characleristics of Geography. These qualities of Geography makes the creative thinking significant in geographical study. After explaining the inborn and postnatal growth of creative thinking,this paper also explores the interactional relation ship between the creative thinking and geographical study,then analyzes the change of geographical study and the promotion which the creative thinking makes to the geographical study in the era of knowledge economy.
