Abstract：The carbon nanotubes have been prepared by CVD method and characterized by X-rays and TEM. We have also prepared the carbon nanotubes air-cathode,which was used in the degradation of reactive brilliant red X-3B,dealing with pesticide wasterwater and inspect hydroxyl,compared with the carbonblack air-cathode. The experimental results showed that carbon nanotubes air-cathode was much higher than carbonblack air-cathode in the photo-electricity catalytic performances. It was considered that the carbon nanotubes new material have large developing potential and broad application prospect.
