Abstract：Three thevoetical problems in polar coordinates are discussed in this paper: 1) Number of curvilinear equations in polar coordinates and its significance in the teaching of polar coordinates in high school. 2) Sufficient and necessary conditions for eurvilinear symmetry in polar coordinates. 3) Graphing by parts in polar coordinates. The imporovements of the demonstration of several theroms are also given in this paper.
