Abstract:Labor education has gone through the evolutionary process of starting and budding, imitating and alienating, recovering and reconstructing, deepening and expanding. With the development of the information era and the new changes in the form of labor, the cultivation of innovative workers calls for creative labor. Creative labor is a comprehensive practical activity aimed at fostering creativity,with the logical approach consisting of the stage of stimulating creative potential with physical and mental participation as the necessary prerequisite,the stage of germinating creative thinking with the in-depth experience as the preparing process, the stage of tempering creative ability with the transformation of knowledge and action as the key link, and the stage of enhancing creative wisdom with the integration of knowledge as the ultimate objective. The practical approaches for creative labor education to be implemented in primary and secondary schools could be realized by designing a labor curriculum cluster that combines natural experiential labor with exploring creative labor, and constructs curriculum objectives horizontally and vertically, integrated curriculum types, specialized curriculum resources and diversified curriculum assessment.
