Abstract:Constructing comparative education with Chinese characteristics is an important task and mission that scholars of comparative education in China should undertake at present and in the future. Its driving forces includes: the cultural attributes of comparative education, the development demand of modern society, the proposal and development of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and the emergence of crisis psychology within scholars of comparative education in China. To further promote the construction of comparative education with Chinese characteristics,it is necessary to clarify the inherent philosophical logic, cultural logic, practical logic and value logic of disciplinary construction, and also to clarify the path of the construction of comparative education with Chinese characteristics in the longitudinal time series, so as to promote the high-quality development of comparative education in China.
