Abstract:Because of the education of “poem(诗)” and “Li(礼)” and “Yue(乐)” complement each other, the music education goes throughout the whole process of education, which cannot be understood only existing in the advanced stage of education. “Achieving Yu Yue(乐)” can not only be used to refer to a complete teaching process of music education, but also the achievement of the final goal of education practice. Confucius attaches great importance to the cultivation of the gentleman’s personality of the disciple. “Achieving Yu Yue(乐)” mainly refers to the cultivation of the personality characteristics and spiritual dimension of the Confucian gentleman personality, that is, magnanimous and happy. “Achieving Yu Yue(乐)” is formed in and influenced by the long history of music education and poetry, it should not be thought as a complete rejection of traditional music education, on the contrary, it should be used as a basis and virtue.
