Abstract:Taking the 41 cities in the Pan-Yangtze River Delta as an example, the tourism economic gravity model and the network model were used to analyze the evolution of the Pan-Yangtze River Delta tourism economic network structure in 2005, 2010 and 2015. The study shows that: (1) Pan-Yangtze River Delta tourism economic ties continue to grow, Shanghai and other cities accounted for smaller, monopoly weakened, increasingly close contact with tourism, the overall trend of balanced development.(2)The network is densely populated in the east, sparse in the west, dense in the middle and sparsely populated in the north and the south. The edge of the island is gradually subsided, and the network integrity and network density are getting higher (3) Core-edge node urban development is stable, more closely linked, enhanced interaction, the number of members of the core area increased, the network development is gradually balanced, the core area driven role, “trickle effect” increasingly significant.(4)The central area of the Yangtze River Delta is located in a ladder-like pattern, subdivided into five role groups to locate the status and attributes of each node city. Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing, the central role of the indicators in an absolute dominant position, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing, together play the core role of tourism.
