A kind of coexisting phenomenon of asymmetric multiple attractors and its hardware experiment conformation

Abstract:Coexisting multiple attractors with multiple steady states is a special phenomenon of nonlinear dynamical systems, which offers great flexibility in engineering applications and receives much attention by international and domestic academics in recent years. A kind of novel coexisting phenomenon of asymmetric multiple attractors has been reported in the recent literature. Based on the proposed hypogenetic Jerk dynamical system, stability analysis of the system equilibrium points is performed, and bifurcation analyses with the variations of system parameters and initial conditions are carried out by using dynamical methods including bifurcation diagram, Lyapunov exponent spectrum, and phase portrait, from which the forming mechanism of coexisting asymmetric multiple attractors is elaborated. Meanwhile, a hardware circuit is designed and fabricated, upon which the experimental results effectively verify the truth of coexisting asymmetric multiple attractors.
