Abstract：First this paper introduces the concept of Lp-maximal regularity for first order Cauchy problems. Distinctive from the traditional ones， we then use methods originated from second order problems to study the existence， uniqueness and regularity of solutions for first order initial value problems. Moreover， we prove the independence of T and p of the Lp-maximal regularity for inhomogeneous Cauchy problems.
