Analysis on effective thermal conductivity model of porous media with rough fractal-like tree network

Abstract:Since the surface of the natural porous media is rough and the distribution of its microstructure follows the fractal scaling law, in this paper, the distribution function of effective thermal conductivity of porous media in fractal-like tree network with rough wall is derived by using fractal geometry theory. The quantitative relationship is analyzed between the effective thermal conductivity and structural parameter of porous media in rough fractal-like tree network. The theoretical results are compared with experimental data to verify the validity of the proposed model.
