| On Alai’s Reference and Transformation of Foreign Literature |

Abstract The learning， reference and creative transformation of foreign literary experience is one of the important reasons for the success of famous Tibetan writer Alai’s literary creation. On the one hand， Alai has demonstrated his emphasis on studying American literature， Latin American literature， and European literature in studying foreign literature， and has extensively borrowed experience from foreign literature in various aspects such as literary ideas， creative techniques， literary skills， and styles； On the other hand， according to his own national conditions， Alai has made a creative transformation of foreign literary experience， through combining foreign literary traditions with Chinese classical literary traditions and Tibetan oral literary traditions， rebuilding foreign literary experiences， distinguishing advantages and disadvantages of foreign literary experiences，and processing， recomposing and innovating foreign literary experiences.
