| The Effects of Cultural Ecological Factors on the Spatial Distribution of Intangible Cultural Heritage in County Areas of China——A Research Based on Social-Ecological System (SES) Framework |

Abstract The cultural ecology of county and rural areas is closer to the original environment of intangible cultural heritage than that of the cities. It is of great significance to study the spatial distribution and influencing factors of the intangible cultural heritage in China’s county areas. Based on the SES framework， this paper constructs influencing factor models to figure out the potential cultural and ecological factors which may have significant impacts on the quantity of intangible cultural heritage resources in the county areas in China. The following conclusions are obtained： 1. As direct conditions for nourishing and nurturing intangible cultural heritage resources， the internal environmental cultural factors such as material cultural heritage and traditional villages have the most significant impact on the stock of intangible cultural heritage resources in county areas. 2. The stable population size of the county is a necessary foundation to ensure the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage. 3. The influence of natural ecological and economic factors on the distribution of intangible cultural heritage resources with different occupational attributes is differentiated： intangible cultural heritage projects with weak occupational attributes have a strong dependence on the native natural environment and are more vulnerable to the negative impact of economic development and industrialization， while intangible cultural heritage projects with strong occupational attributes are insensitive to natural environment conditions and more likely to benefit from economic development.
