Abstract Classical studies converge with historical literature in the field of history. From this perspective, Dunhuang Han bamboo slips are also an important part of classical studies. Dunhuang Han bamboo slips have a strong historical value, especially in promoting the study of the history of the Western Regions in Dunhuang in the Western Han Dynasty. Through the study and utilization of Dunhuang Han bamboo slips, many details in the history of the Western Regions in Dunhuang in the Western Han Dynasty can be more fully interpreted.
