Abstract Since the reform and opening up,the fast transformation of village society also means the policy evolution.During the course of the transformation of village and that of the social system, the status of rural women has been greatly changed;they always play an important role in agriculture production, while play an inferior part in democrat participation. With the integrated development of city and village and the construction of new country, village governance and performance of rural women in China has advanced into a new age.On the condition of women's greatest contribution to agriculture,it is the duty of government to strengthen the system protection for women's democrat participation and to promote women's performance in the construction of new country.Of course, there is a demand on women to transform by themselves as well.
