| On Wang Yanan’s Scientific Research Strategic Ideology and Management Practice |

Abstract Wang Yanan，a famous Marxist economist and educator in contemporary China，has formed a rich system of strategic ideology in scientific research during his long-term academic research and practice of school management.The formation of his strategic ideology in scientific research benefits from both his good habits of academic research and the deep influence of Marxism as well as the thought of “saving the nation through education”.Clear research objectives，scientific research principles and rigorous scientific research spirit constitute the basic connotation of Wang Yanan’s strategic ideology in scientific research.By clarifying the functions of scientific research，founding academic journals and periodicals，establishing scientific research institutions and expanding research fields in university，Wang Yanan integrated his strategic ideology into the management of universities，thereby resulting in the development of higher education in contemporary China.Wang Yanan’s strategic ideology in scientific research and his management practice significantly inspired us：holding scientific research position and sticking to the leadership of the Communist Party of China in scientific research firmly；taking correct scientific attitude and upholding matter-of-fact style in scientific research；mastering scientific methods， improving the quality of scientific research and strengthening the infrastructure construction of scientific research，etc.
