Abstract：Dicyclopentadiene unsaturated polyester resin is prepared through Diels-Alder reaction. Mixed with silica ground powder,and solidified by the curing catalysts to improve greatly its strength,neat-resisting and dielectric behavior.The resin is used to cast potential transformer of JOZ-10 and LCZ-35. Both its power frequealy pressure and local discharge have come to the state standard.
