Intelligent deconstruction and principle analysis of Taijiquan technical movements based on sports biomechanics : taking “kicking with the left heel” as an example

Abstract:At present, there are problems such as ambiguous description, subjective understanding and mysterious tendency in the principles of Taijiquan, which seriously restrict the inheritance of Taijiquan as an intangible cultural heritage. Quantifying, objectifying and visualizing the evaluation indicators of technical movements will help the inheritors scientifically explore and clarify the principles of Taijiquan. This study selected the representative technical movement of Chen-style Taijiquan, Kicking with the Left Heel, and used the synchronous measurement technology of a three-dimensional motion capture system, a three-dimensional force measurement platform and a wireless surface electromyography system to collect the original data of the lower extremity kinematics, dynamics and electromyography of this movement of 12 high-level Taijiquan athletes. The biomechanical parameters of human movement were obtained by using Visual3D biomechanical modeling and MR3.16 software. The results show that it is feasible to reveal the abstract principles of Taijiquan by deconstructing movements with biomechanical indicators, providing a scientific basis for the realization of AI teaching and intelligent scoring of principles, and offering a new perspective for the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.
