Abstract:Compared with ordinary migrants, double Jiguan Jinshi migrants in Hubei in the Ming Dynasty has its particularity. Emigrants were mainly official ones, while ordinary migrants were mainly civil ones. Immigrants were mainly civil ones, which was consistent with ordinary migrants. The migration time was mainly in the middle and late Ming Dynasty, and the ordinary migrants were in the early Ming Dynasty. The emigrants mainly came from eastern Hubei and the Jianghan Plain, and immigrants mainly came from Jiangxi. Both of them were in accordance with the characteristics of ordinary migrants, which confirmed the well-known migration movement of “Jiangxi Tian Huguang”from one side. The emigrants were mainly distributed in Beijing, Shandong and Sichuan, among which the civil emigrants mainly moved to Sichuan, indicating that the source of the migration movement of “Huguang Tian Sichuan” could be traced back to the Ming Dynasty. Immigrants were mainly distributed in Jianghan Plain and eastern Hubei, while ordinary migrants were mainly distributed in the eastern Hubei.
