Abstract:Revolutionary historical dramas play an important role in promoting public emotional cognition and cultural identity, stimulating tourism demand and enhancing the attraction of red tourist attractions. In this paper the major revolutionary historical drama The Age of Awakening is taken as an example. Based on the Baidu index of relevant red tourist attractions in 2020-2021, and adopting the methods of Herfindahl index, spatial autocorrelation and regression analysis, the influence of revolutionary historical drama on the spatial-temporal characteristics of the network attention of its related red tourist attractions is explored. The findings are as follows. 1) After the broadcast of The Age of Awakening, the network attention of related red scenic spots increases significantly compared with the level of the same period before the broadcast, and the growth of non-well-known scenic spots is greater than that of well-known scenic spots. The annual equilibrium degree changed little, and the annual distribution trend showed an inverted U-shaped distribution. 2) After the broadcast of The Age of Awakening, the concentration degree of network attention space of relevant red scenic spots is improved, and the spatial pattern of cold hot spots is stable, showing the characteristics of Hu Huanyong line segmentation. Besides, the hot spots are mainly concentrated in the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and its adjacent areas. Yanqiao Road, Longhua Martyrs' Cemetery and MAO Zedong's former residence have obvious spatial response to network attention. The network attention of urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is significantly improved. 3) The average daily Internet attention of tourist attractions associated with The Age of Awakening is positively correlated with the popularity of the TV series.
