Abstract:To investigate the expression of heat shock protein 27(HSP27) in detrusor tissue of rats with ketamine and clinical significance. Rats were injected intraperitoneal with ketamine to establish the cystitis model. Through urodynamic detection the function of bladder contraction was studied, and then urinary bladders of the rats were harvested for routine pathological staining to analysis bladder mucosa and detrusor structure. HSP27 expression level in detrusor tissue at different time point was detected by immunohistochemical (IHC) staining. In comparison to the control group, urodynamic change of ketamine treated group showed significantly increased frequency of bladder contraction and reduced bladder capacity of first sensation; there is no significant change on pathological and immune expression in the control group, while it was observed in the experimental group with different degree of bladder mucosal hyperemia, inflammatory cells infiltration and elevated HSP27 expression levels; additionally, HSP27 expression level was positively correlated with the induction time. These results suggested that the expression levels of HSP27 might have a correlation with the degree of detrusor contraction activities of ketamine-associated cystitis.
