Permutation-like matrix groups with a maximal cycle of 8 dimension

Abstract：If any element of a matrix group is similar to a permutation matrix， it is called a permutation-like matrix group. In this paper， we characterize the representing matrix of every element in the permutation-like matrix group with 8 dimension by the group acting on the invariant set of the orbit， and then show that this matrix group is similar to a permutation group if it contains a normal subgroup which is a maximal cycle.
