Abstract:A graphene nano anticorrosion coating was prepared by replacing part of the zinc powder. Its anticorrosion property was tested by a modified copper accelerated acetic acid salt soaking test, and the mass change of the coating sample board before and after soaking was determined. Its appearance and SEM were observed, and anticorrosion mechanism of graphene was furtherly investigated. The results showed that copper accelerated acetic acid salt soaking test accelerated the corrosion process and reduced the measuring time. There was no significant change on the mass of the sample board of graphene nano anticorrosive coating GEPZn in 411 h immersion. The main anticorrosive mechanism was the effective protection of metal base through the “conduction bridge” function of graphene with conductivity from the graphene nano anticorrosion coating, which increased the utilization ratio of zinc powder.
