Abstract:The color landscape is an important part of the local landscape, which has unique locality and nationality. Whether the color landscape construction is proper is directly related to the shaping of the village personality and style, and affects the public's feelings about the village landscape environment. This study takes Xunpu Village in southern Fujian as an example to carry out quantitative analysis of color features and qualitative evaluation of public perception. The research shows that: 1) The environmental base color is slightly, bright, and messy, the artificial color is chaotic, and the natural color is monotonous. It is necessary to create a more pleasant, harmonious and warm traditional atmosphere; 2) The historical and humanistic colors is relatively rich and bright, traditional costumes have lost their traditional colors, and traditional architectural colors have the characteristics of Southern Fujian. It is necessary to create a more elegant and harmonious traditional color style. It is suggested to optimize the color landscape through color landscape planning and hierarchical management, strengthening the traditional color characteristics of the area in Xunpu village, rationally standardizing the management and control of artificial color, and enriching and improving the color level of the plant landscape.
